03 Lock Plugs

High Precision Machining: Ensures perfect alignment and function between the plug and other components.

Anti-Drilling Features: Special hardening treatments and anti-drill designs enhance the plug's resistance to forced entry.

04 Keys

Patented Key System: Increases duplication resistance and protects customer interests.

Complex Bitting Design: Adds multiple layers of complexity, making it harder to pick or manipulate.

step1

Lock Plugs

We implement advanced lathing, drilling for various pin holes, milling, and broaching of key profiles.

The precision drilling of pin holes is especially critical. High-end cylinders often feature not just active pins but also side, snake, passive, and angled pins. The exact positioning and alignment of these pins are crucial for achieving the highest performance and security in the lock cylinder.

Broaching key profiles is another vital step, as the precision fit between the key profile and pins directly impacts the overall quality and security of the lock cylinder.

step2

Lock Housings

The machining precision of housings is critical, especially in pin hole drilling and plug hole smoothness.

At EOS Secure, we utilize CNC 4-Axis Machining Centers for drilling, milling, and cutting, maintaining tolerances below 0.03mm.

To further enhance productivity, we employ various transfer machines, combining high precision with efficient output.

step3

Keys

A key serves as the bridge connecting all the critical components within the cylinder, with precision reflected in key profile tolerances, cutting, and bitting accuracy.

At EOS Secure, we use CNC broaching machines for key profile broaching, ensuring precise results with minimal setup, thanks to our skilled workers. This is ideal for locksmiths needing high-precision parts like key blanks and pins.

Our automatic key cutting and bitting machines for both standard and dimple keys maintain tolerances within 0.05mm. Each key is also laser-engraved with its corresponding code for accuracy.

step4

Surface Treatment

We polish parts like plugs and housings using manual or mechanical methods, adhering to DIN standards (331710mm for housings). After polishing, parts undergo electroplating, powder coating, or PVD treatment. Common finishes include satin nickel, satin brass, black, satin or polished chrome, and PVD gold. Custom treatments are available.

step5

Assembling

At EOS Secure, our assembly line combines all parts into complete lock cylinders, performs final inspections, and handles packaging.

We provide detailed assembly instructions to ensure correct assembly. For master key systems, engineers print code lists, and workers assemble according to these codes to prevent errors.

Our QC team individually tests each cylinder’s functionality, using master keys for accessibility and KD keys to check for mutual opening issues, ensuring the highest quality for your project.
